DESCRIPTION: My name is Peta Nitka. I am a transgender model from the Czech Republic, living and working worldwide. I started doing modelling in Prague. It was after my first meeting with photographer Bharathan Kangatheran in Australia (where I came to study English), that my modelling took off. It was here that I realised, that I am not a typical 'male' model. I have always felt like a female. In May 2016 I was named as a first Czechoslovak Androgynous model. Soon after I went to South Africa. Designer Roman Handt told me, a should call myself as a first ever Gender Neutral Model. Soon after, in July 2016, I walked a Fashion show for Alexndra Blanc as First ever Gender Neutral model in South African Fashion Week in Cape Town where i was named as the "Next Human Evolution in Gender“. In february 2017 I became first ever gender neutral model in India at Lakme Fashion Week in Mumbai. It has been my biggest modelling experience so far. I am glad I could break stereotypes and destroy prejudices in India about different sexuality and LGBT community. I worked at Lakme FW for the best indian designers like Amit GT, Dhruv Kapoor, or Paridhi Jaipura and did many interviews for leading indian magazines. soon after i started with my transition process I became first transgender model walking a show in Romania and Slovenia. I have now been signed by Indi Models® and I know that modelling is my life for now and I look forward to the future.
